We’re thrilled to announce the Call For Submissions for the Second Annual Listen To Your Mother Austin! Last year’s performance by 15 Austin writers was an amazing 300-seat sold out show and we can’t wait to do it again this April 29, 2012 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center theater.
We are seeking a diverse collection of Austin writers (or aspiring writers!) to read their own words about motherhood. People of all ages, types, backgrounds and experience-level are invited to submit his or her piece of work, even if you are not a mother!
Send us your own original (as in written by you) humorous, poignant, or soulful words about the good, the bad and ugly of motherhood (or your mother/person who raised you.) Your piece should be roughly 5 minutes or less when read aloud.
